Three-A-Week Devotionals

As we talked about this past Sunday, we want the Word to be the centerpoint of SALT this year. So to help you with your devotionals, we are offering an online devotional and accountability service for all those who are interested - 30 people are already participating! Devotionals are offered three times a week, and the staff will help keep you accountable to those times. If you are interested in participating, please email us asap - but note that serious commitment will be expected.

Upcoming Events

Just a list of upcoming events:

September 28th - Pastoral Meet & Greet! The Pastors of Open Door will be attending our SALT meeting to meet all the college students and welcome them to our church. A special lunch will be provided, followed by a Q&A session.

October 4th-5th - SALT Fall Tune-up! Our one day retreat will be at a house in Winchester, where we'll spend the day and night playing, eating and getting to know one another better. Cost is $10, space is limited!

SALT 2008-2009

Hope you had a good summer, and are ready to get back into studying and worrying and stressing out for another nine months, hahaha! Don't worry, Open Door will be right with you through it all!

Van shuttle services will begin Sunday, 8/31 to Georgetown, and then the following Sunday from both Georgetown and George Washington.

Our first Sunday SALT meeting will be on 9/7 here at church - please don't miss it!

	Ski Trip Details this friday-saturday is our ski trip at whitetail! we're sleeping over at charles' place on friday night, and leaving bright and early on saturday morning. because of the trip, sunday SALT will be canceled, but the Gambia missions trip interest meeting will be at the same time, 1 pm in the church basement. please join us, lunch included!

We are the college ministry of Open Door Church, and serve the college-aged students of the diverse campuses of Northern Virginia, including Georgetown, George Washington, George Mason, and any other school with the name "George" in it.
